County status and growth

Weber County is home to 227,000 residents (US Census). The last 5 years have seen an average of 4,000 people moving in.

North and West are where most new homes are being built. Average new home prices are slightly higher than the Wasatch Front average.

Some good news for county residents is that in July 2009, Weber County refinanced over $22 million in revenue bonds that will save taxpayers $1.36 million over the next 10 years. So the cost of living here just went down!
