Utah County home builders are building affordable and custom homes all over Utah Valley. Here’s the outlook and where building is currently going on. Skip down to the list of locations.
Utah County is home to about 530,000 residents (US Census). It’s the fastest growing county in Utah in terms of population since at least 2000. It’s grown an average of 24,000 people per year over the last 5 years.
Spanish Fork is the city with the most homes built last year. However, Northern Utah Valley has grown much faster than Southern Utah Valley. Lehi, Eagle Mountain and Saratoga Springs claim about 40% of all new home permits in the county for the last year.
One of the objectives of the Utah County General Plan is to "encourage a fair share of affordable housing." They seem to be achieving that objective very well.
Utah home builders are also building many upscale custom homes around the valley. If you’re in the market for a custom home be sure to check out this page.
You’ll find great information at the county Visitors page and on the county events calendar.
